5-a-Side Matchmaking App

I’m building a mobile app that does more than reserve a football pitch—it instantly matches incomplete 5-a-side teams and lets them settle the bill on the spot. Any user who feels like kicking a ball around can launch an “Open Match,” specify the missing positions, and the system keeps that invitation visible until the spots are filled. Once a new player taps “Join,” my back-end logic must recalculate the per-person price and present each participant with an equal share for seamless in-app payment.

I already have the core concept sketched on paper; what I need now is a working MVP that covers:
• Intuitive screens for creating, browsing, and joining Open Matches
• Real-time slot tracking (so no double bookings)
• Automatic cost-splitting tied to a simple payment gateway
• Basic profile management so users can see their match history

I’m tech-agnostic, but React Native or Flutter paired with Firebase or Supabase would fit the timeline I have in mind. Clean, well-commented code and a short hand-off document will complete the engagement so I can iterate quickly after launch.
