I’m turning the outline below into a fully-developed essay that my students can both submit as an assignment and keep as study notes. Please write in a clear, engaging style suitable for a high-school reader and organise the paper into logical, labelled sections.

• Active Listening – move beyond simply hearing words, explain decoding meaning, checking understanding, and crafting thoughtful responses.
