Shopify Website Reconstruction – Small & Straightforward Project

### Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to rebuild our existing website using Shopify.

Our previous website was built on Shopify, and we now need it reconstructed, including all existing pages, blog posts, images and written content.

The website is relatively small, simple and straightforward. There are no complex functionalities or major custom development requirements anticipated.

We are happy to use Shopify's free **Dawn theme**, or another suitable free Shopify theme. There is no need to purchase a premium theme or develop a completely custom website.

The objective is to recreate our existing website with a clean, modern and professional presentation while retaining our current brand identity, structure and content.

### Scope of Work

**1. Website Reconstruction**

- Rebuild the existing website using Shopify.
- Recreate all existing website pages and layouts.
- Use the free Shopify Dawn theme or another suitable free theme.
- Configure and customise the theme to reflect our brand identity.
- Ensure a clean, professional and user-friendly design.

**2. Content & Blog Migration**

- Recreate all existing website pages and transfer their written content.
- Migrate and recreate all existing blog posts, including text, formatting and images.
- Upload and organise all existing website images and visual assets.
- Ensure content is properly formatted and displayed across all devices.

**3. Shopify Setup & Functionality**

- Configure the Shopify theme and essential settings.
- Recreate navigation menus and website structure.
- Ensure all buttons, links and contact forms work correctly.
- Configure any existing essential website functionality.
- Ensure the website is easy for our team to manage and update.

**4. SEO & Technical Requirements**

- Preserve existing URLs wherever possible.
- Set up 301 redirects if any URLs need to change.
- Retain existing page titles, meta descriptions and SEO content wherever possible.
- Optimise images and ensure reasonable website loading speeds.
- Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and responsive.

**5. Testing & Final Handover**

- Test all pages, images, links and functionality.
- Check the website across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Fix any issues before completion.
- Deliver a fully functional Shopify website.
- Provide a complete handover so our team can manage the website independently.

### Preferred Theme

We would prefer to use Shopify's free **Dawn theme**. However, developers are welcome to recommend another free Shopify theme if they believe it is more suitable.

Please note:

- No premium or paid theme is required.
- No unnecessary apps or additional paid subscriptions should be introduced.
- We prefer to use Shopify's standard features wherever possible.
- The focus should be on functionality, presentation and accurate content migration rather than complicated development.

### Freelancer Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

- Has proven experience in Shopify website development.
- Has experience rebuilding or migrating existing Shopify websites.
- Can efficiently handle website pages, blog posts, images and content migration.
- Has a good eye for clean and professional design.
- Understands basic Shopify SEO and website structure.
- Communicates clearly and provides regular progress updates.
- Can complete the project within an agreed timeframe.

### Project Expectations

This is a relatively small and straightforward website reconstruction project, not a large-scale development project.

We already have the existing website content, images and blog posts. The main task is to rebuild and organise everything properly within Shopify.

We are looking for someone practical, efficient and detail-oriented who can complete the work without overcomplicating the project or introducing unnecessary costs.
