Healthcare Salesforce Azure AWS Integration Architect

Harmony Health is hiring a Salesforce integration architect to connect Salesforce and a HITRUST r2 AWS SFTP to the existing PCE platform on Azure, without breaking anything already built.

Title: Salesforce Integration Architect (Azure Data Factory + AWS, Healthcare/HITRUST r2): Patient File Intake & CSR Workflow

About the project
We're a healthcare services organization that runs a patient outreach and scheduling program for a health plan partner. We're moving our call-center workflow to Salesforce. We need an experienced integration architect to design, and optionally build, how patient data flows between our partner, AWS, Salesforce and our existing Azure platform. All of it must support our HITRUST r2 certification effort.

Current state
The health plan sends a monthly patient file. Today it lands on Azure SFTP and loads into Azure SQL through Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Azure SQL feeds our current scheduling list through Power Automate, sends a daily status file back to the health plan, and reconciles appointments from our EHR (athenahealth, via Snowflake).
Planned future state (our preferred design, open to expert review)
The health plan delivers the monthly file to a Harmony-branded SFTP on AWS Transfer Family, a HITRUST r2 in-scope service.
ADF pulls the file from S3 into our existing ingestion pipeline. Azure SQL stays the system of record.
ADF replaces our two Power Automate flows: (1) upsert members from Azure SQL into Salesforce on member ID, (2) sync CSR call attempts from Salesforce back into the existing Azure SQL tables. Downstream reporting and EHR reconciliation stay unchanged.

Phase 1: architecture and design, about 2 to 4 weeks
Validate or improve this design. Our priority is preserving the existing Azure pipelines.
Design the S3 to ADF handoff: credentials, triggering and HITRUST controls.
Map Salesforce fields and call outcomes to our existing contact-attempt tables.
Recommend the Salesforce data model (Lead/Contact vs. Person Account, Health Cloud fit) and the CSR routing approach (queues, tasks or Omni-Channel).
Design monitoring and alerting so a failed sync is caught the same day.
Plan a parallel-run cutover from the current scheduling list to Salesforce.
Map security decisions to HITRUST control areas across Azure, AWS and Salesforce.
Deliverables: future-state architecture diagram, field mapping, integration and error-handling design, HITRUST control mapping, and a Phase 2 build plan with estimate.

Phase 2 (optional, separate contract): build and test the ADF pipelines and Salesforce Flows, complete the AWS SFTP setup, and go live after a parallel run with test files from the health plan.
Required
Azure Data Factory, including the Salesforce connector, and Azure SQL.
Salesforce integration architecture. Integration Architect certification preferred.
AWS: Transfer Family/S3, IAM, KMS and CloudTrail.
Experience handling PHI under HIPAA. HITRUST r2 experience strongly preferred.
Batch integration: file intake, upsets, retries and reconciliation.

Sign an NDA and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before you see architecture documents.
Work only through company-provisioned accounts with MFA. No PHI on personal devices.

Phase 1 is design-only with no PHI access. Phase 2 uses dummy data until go-live. A background check may be required for Phase 2.
