Book Cover Publisher Update

I already have a finished cover layout and artwork; what I now need is a quick, clean text-only refresh. The front subtitle needs to be changed to: Spiritual and Ancient Remedies for Womb Health

Your task is confined to the back cover. Please make sure the back and front fall into KDP guidelines:

1. Full Cover Dimensions

Full Cover (Back + Spine + Front): 12.786" W × 9.25" H

Front Cover: 6" W × 9" H

Bleed: 0.125" on the outer edges

Margin: 0.125"

Front and Back Safe Area: 5.875" W × 8.75" H

Please ensure that all important text, graphics, and design elements remain within the designated safe areas. Any background colors or images that extend to the edge of the cover should continue through the bleed area to prevent white borders after trimming.

2. Spine Adjustments

Spine Width: 0.536"

Spine Height: 9"

Spine Safe Area: 0.411" W × 8.75" H

Spine Margin: 0.062" on each side

Please center the spine text and ensure that it remains within the safe area, with adequate spacing to prevent any text from extending onto the front or back cover.

3. Back Cover and Barcode Placement

Barcode Margin: 0.25"

Please adjust the back cover layout to accommodate the barcode placement and ensure that the author biography, book description, and other text are positioned safely within the printing margins.

The barcode area should remain clear of important text or graphics. Please also ensure that the back cover design maintains its visual balance after these adjustments.

4. Final Design Requirements

Before submitting the revised cover, please:

Resize the full cover layout to exactly 12.786" × 9.25".

Apply the required bleed and safe margins throughout the design.

Reposition any text or graphics that fall outside the safe areas.

Verify that the spine text is centered and properly aligned.

Confirm that the barcode placement meets KDP requirements.

Maintain the existing cover design, typography, colors, and overall aesthetic as much as possible.

Export the final print-ready cover as a high-resolution PDF with the correct dimensions, without additional printer marks.

Provide the updated editable design file along with the final PDF.

Once you’ve made the edits, I’ll need two final assets:
• A print-ready PDF that matches the original trim size and bleed settings
• A high-resolution JPG or PNG for online listings

All fonts, images and the existing editable file (InDesign, PSD or PDF—whichever you prefer) are ready to share as soon as we start. Let me know if you spot any spacing or alignment issues that the new text might create; otherwise, a straight replacement is perfect.
