WordPress Sportspress Minor Fixes

I need a WordPress developer familiar with the SportsPress plugin to tackle a handful of small but important adjustments on https://redriverreapers.com. Everything has to blend seamlessly with the existing design—no restyling beyond what is required to solve each issue.

Scope of work
• Home page spacing – tighten the gap between the hero image and the first block of content.
• Footer spacing – reduce the space between the grey footer top edge and its text.
• Scoreboard on mobile – make the game scores appear on both iPhone and Android phones; the desktop view already works.
• Header search bar – replace it with a flexible widget area. I’ll add my own social-icon widget once the spot is in place.
• Tab menu typography – adjust the CSS so the active tab (e.g., “Statistics”) shows white bold text, while inactive tabs remain white regular weight.

All fixes must match the current layout and styling exactly; think “surgical tweaks,” not a redesign. Please test changes on standard iPhone and Android phone browsers before delivery and confirm the SportsPress elements still behave as expected.

Deliverable: an updated theme (or child-theme) / custom CSS & template snippets, clearly commented so I can maintain them later, plus a brief note describing where each change was made.
