Term Lecturer Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwai Chung) Department / Section : Department of Health and Life Sciences Ref. no : O/KC-HLS/Term_L(Nursing)/10/26 Specialism: Nursing Major Duties: (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; (c) To develop programme curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment materials; (d) To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and (e) To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, organizing seminars and talks for students and soliciting student scholarships. Requirements: (a) A recognised degree in Nursing; (b) At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching / industry experience; (c) Qualification of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong; and (d) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese. Notes: (1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. (2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
