I’m looking for a skilled children’s writer to craft a warm, engaging story that gently teaches kindness and sharing to preschoolers (ages 3–5). The tone should be playful and reassuring, with simple sentences and plenty of rhythmic repetition so little listeners can join in.

What I need
• A complete manuscript suitable for a picture book—short enough to hold a young child’s attention, yet rich in emotion and imagery (roughly 600-800 words is perfect).
• A clear beginning, middle, and end featuring relatable characters who model empathy and generosity in everyday situations.
• Language that invites read-aloud interaction and leaves room for future illustrations (no artwork required at this stage).
• A separate two-sentence blurb summarising the story’s theme for marketing copy.

Acceptance criteria
