Extreme Weather Safety Quiz Prototype

Build a small educational quiz web app about extreme weather safety

We are three university students working on an Information Management assignment that explicitly requires outsourcing software development. We need a small, working web prototype to help students in Switzerland learn about extreme weather safety.

The app should include:

- A home page with three scenarios: flooding, heatwaves and severe thunderstorms.
- Three multiple-choice questions per scenario.
- Feedback after each answer, using explanations and links to official guidance supplied by us.
- A final score and summary, with options to restart or choose another scenario.

We will provide the English content, correct answers, explanations, source links and basic screen sketches. Content should be stored in a simple editable file.

The interface should work on mobile and desktop. No accounts, payments, live alerts, database or app store publication are required. A simple implementation is welcome.

Budget: USD 80 total for development, divided into two milestones.

Proposed schedule:
- Sprint 24, 27 October 2026: one complete working scenario, including feedback and scoring. Milestone: USD 40.
- Sprint 2, 27 October–1 November 2026: the remaining scenarios and improvements agreed after the first review. Milestone: USD 40.

Please allow for a short review at each milestone and correction of defects against the agreed requirements. Additional functionality will require a separate agreement.

Deliverables:
- Source code at both milestones.
- README with clear local setup and execution instructions.
- List of dependencies and any third-party assets and their licences.
- Brief disclosure of any generative AI tools used and how their outputs were checked.
