Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer

Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwai Chung) Department / Section : Department of Health and Life Sciences Ref. no : O/KC-HLS/PTD_L(Nutrition)/10/26 Specialism: Nutrition Major Duties: (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; (c) To develop programme curriculum, teaching materials, assignment / test paper if necessary; and (d) To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. Requirements: (a) A recognised degree in food and nutrition, or related disciplines; (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching / industrial experience in relevant areas, e.g., nutritional services, health food products business, food or catering services, and etc. (c) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and (d) Good network with the nutrition and health related industry. Notes: (1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment. (2) In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
