WordPress Developer & Web Project Lead (Remote, Long-Term)

About Us:
Webserv, a Mexico-based SEO agency specializing in behavioral health and healthcare clients, is seeking a dedicated and experienced WordPress Developer and Web Project Lead for a full-time, long-term remote position. This role involves building and maintaining WordPress sites, addressing critical technical SEO issues, and managing site security and hosting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor, Gutenberg/FSE, and custom PHP solutions.

Implement technical SEO fixes, including site speed optimization, schema markup, managing redirects, and optimizing internal linking structures.

Oversee site security and hosting environments, specifically with WP Engine and Cloudflare.

Lead web project requests from end-to-end, collaborating closely with our SEO team to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.

Strong working knowledge of technical SEO principles and best practices.

Experience with AI coding tools is a plus (e.g., Claude Code).

Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic.

Compensation & Details:

Type: Ongoing monthly contract position.

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week.

Compensation: Around $2,500 USD per month.

Location: Remote, ideally for candidates based in Mexico/America with some overlap with Mexico time (PDT).
