Digital Marketing + Social media and app-install ads manager for a Tamil family app (Tamil + English)

We run a mobile app for Tamil families, on Android and iOS. Our team checks every profile before it goes live. We want more families to install the app and complete their profile. We need someone to run our Facebook and Instagram day to day: content, ads and reporting. We'll share full details about the app with shortlisted applicants.

Our audience speaks Tamil and lives mostly in Tamil Nadu. Young adults find us on Instagram. Their parents, who often sign up for them, are on Facebook.

What you'll do
Plan and publish posts, Reels and captions in Tamil and English. The tone should be warm, respectful and family-first. Weekly themes include:
how to sign up, and how profiles are verified;
safety and privacy tips;
Tamil culture and family traditions;
festivals and seasonal moments;
real user stories, when the people involved have agreed in writing.
Run Facebook and Instagram app-install campaigns. Optimise for completed sign-ups, not just installs. Adjust audiences, budgets and creatives until we hit our cost-per-sign-up target, which we'll share after shortlisting.
Work with our developer to set up tracking before any ad money is spent:
app events for installs and completed sign-ups;
tagged Play Store and App Store links.
Reply to comments and messages within a day, using answers we approve.
Send a short monthly report covering:
installs, sign-ups and cost per sign-up;
follower growth;
best and worst posts;
what you'll change next month.
I set the strategy and approve content and budgets. You handle creation (Canva, CapCut, Adobe or your own tools), scheduling (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, etc.) and optimisation. If this works well, we'll expand to YouTube Shorts and Google App campaigns.



Acceptance criteria
At least three posts per platform per week, at least one of them a Reel, delivered on schedule.
Campaigns launched with clear objectives, and install and sign-up tracking confirmed working before launch.
Monthly report received no later than the 3rd business day.
Comments and messages answered within 24 hours.

Who we're looking for
Native-level written and spoken Tamil. No machine-translated captions.
Proven Meta app-install campaigns, with numbers to show.
Experience with community, lifestyle or family apps is a plus. Based in Tamil Nadu is preferred.
