Weekly Stock & Price Web Scraper

Two suppliers give me access to their password-protected portals—one is a bespoke build, the other runs on Magento. I need an automated scraper that signs in to both sites, pulls every SKU with its variant-level price and available stock, and sends the results to a single Google Sheets workbook. The sheet must keep the same row order every run, highlight or otherwise flag any stock changes, and overwrite prices so I can compare week on week.

Because the custom site doesn’t expose obvious selectors, you’ll need to inspect the markup and advise on the most reliable way to capture the data. Once the structure is mapped, the script should run unattended every seven days. A lightweight cron job (or a cloud function) that taps the Google Sheets API is fine; if you’d rather orchestrate the scraping through Claude, I have a paid account and can supply the key.

Deliverables:
• Python (or comparable) script with commented code
• One-time run producing the first populated Google Sheet
• Scheduled execution setup and hand-off instructions
• Simple diff or cell highlighting that shows which SKUs changed stock since the prior run

The job is finished when the sheet refreshes itself on schedule for a full cycle and accurately reflects stock and price across both sites.
