Term Lecturer

Term Lecturer Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Haking Wong) 部門 : Department of Business 參考編號 : O/HW-BA/TERM_L/09/26 Major Duties: (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; (c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; (d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; (e) To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and (f) To attend meetings when necessary. Requirements: (a) A recognised degree in Digital Marketing, Media Communications, Advertising or relevant discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; (c) Good experience in digital marketing, offline and online advertising and social media marketing is an advantage; (d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; (e) A good team player with a proactive attitude; and (f) Preferably with knowledge and experience in curriculum and new module development. Notes: (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. (2) The initial posting is in IVE (Haking Wong). The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs. (3) Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment. (4) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different IVE campuses.
