  • Serve as a liaison between internal units, faculty, industry collaborators, and external partners to foster interdisciplinary and cross-sector cooperation.
  • Manage the center’s digital footprint by updating the website and developing engaging, on-brand content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, REDnote, and WeChat.
  • Conceptualize, produce, and edit high-quality multimedia content (including short videos, infographics, and visual storytelling materials) using professional tools to enhance the center’s visibility and engagement across digital platforms.
  • Lead and implement promotional efforts by creating and managing digital and print content for media outreach, newsletters, and public campaigns.
  • Manage the logistics of materials, research equipment, and joint initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and timely delivery of support.
  • Organize, coordinate, and provide support for high-level academic conferences, research workshops, and public engagement events hosted by the center, ensuring seamless logistical arrangements and successful execution.
  • Deliver both administrative and strategic assistance to interdisciplinary innovation programs that bridge academia, industry, and government sectors.
  • Contribute to budget planning, procurement processes, and financial reporting, adhering to both institutional policies and project-specific requirements.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date project documentation, support regular internal and external reporting, and draft briefing notes, reports, and other communication deliverables.

Qualification Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Literature/ Media/ Management, or a closely related field. Degrees earned from English-language institutions are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multimedia content creation, including hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or equivalent video editing and graphic design software.
  • In-depth knowledge of and practical experience in new media operations across major platforms, including Little Red Book, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant digital channels.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken); ability to understand Cantonese is required, with working-level speaking proficiency considered an advantage.
  • A creative and strategic mindset for promoting institutional identity, with the ability to develop compelling narratives and campaigns that elevate the center’s visibility and public impact.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing events, ranging from large-scale international conferences to internal team-building and cross-departmental engagement activities.

  • Relevant experience in academic, research, or administrative roles—particularly within universities, institutes, or innovation-driven organizations—is essential.
  • International academic or professional experience, with familiarity with Hong Kong’s research, innovation, and higher education ecosystem regarded as a distinct advantage.
  • A genuine passion for science, innovation, and public engagement, coupled with a commitment to advancing interdisciplinary collaborations that tackle complex societal challenges.
