Harrow Now Local Guide Development

[login to view URL] is ready for a full rebuild and fresh content that turns it into the go-to guide for visitors and anyone living, working or visiting Harrow. The single, clear objective is to help visitors quickly discover local businesses and services, so every design and copy decision must keep ease-of-use front and centre.

All categories—from cafés to accountants—will be represented from day one, so the site architecture and database need to scale smoothly. On every listing visitors must be able to see contact details, opening hours, location on a map, plus genuine reviews and a gallery of photos. No booking or ordering workflow is required at this stage; the focus is on reliable, well-presented information and a pleasant browsing experience on mobile and desktop alike.

I already own the domain and hosting; the next step is to create a modern, responsive build on Go daddy portal or WordPress, Joomla, or a lightweight custom stack—whichever you can justify for speed and ease of future updates) and write concise, SEO-friendly copy that reflects Harrow’s character.

Deliverables
• Fully functional website deployed to my host
• CMS set up with categories for every business type
• Sample content for at least 20 varied listings (with images and placeholder reviews)
• Clear instructions so I can add or edit businesses myself

Please outline the tools or themes you propose, examples of similar directory work, and an estimated timeframe.
