We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to create a professional, fast-loading and easy-to-manage website for Maiden Ministry, a Christian gospel music ministry based in Kenya.
We want a visually attractive website that promotes our music, reaches audiences internationally, supports donations and can eventually sell merchandise.
Initial website features
1. Modern homepage with ministry introduction, photographs and featured music.
2. About Us page presenting our mission and team.
3. Music gallery with YouTube video embedding. Administrators must be able to add new songs simply by pasting YouTube links.
4. Events section with dates, venues, descriptions and announcements.
5. Donation page supporting M-PESA and international card payments through a reputable provider such as Paystack, subject to account approval.
6. Contact page with WhatsApp and social media integration.
7. Basic SEO, Google Search Console, mobile optimization, SSL and backups.
Scalability requirements
• Use self-hosted WordPress and a lightweight theme.
• Structure the website so WooCommerce can be added later for merchandise sales.
• Prefer free, well-maintained plugins.
• Avoid Elementor Pro or other recurring paid dependencies unless specifically approved.
• Do not build a custom backend or require paid ongoing developer maintenance.
• Use secure hosted payment processing. No storage of payment card information on our server.
Ownership and handover
The ministry must retain full ownership and administrative access to the domain, hosting, WordPress and payment accounts.
Provide a complete website backup, documentation, and a recorded training session covering content updates, YouTube videos, events, donations and routine maintenance.
Include post-launch bug fixes.
Please provide:
• Fixed price and delivery timeframe.

• Number of days to support post-launch bug fixes.
• Proposed theme, plugins and hosting provider.
