SEO and AEO specialist, three month project

We are hiring one freelancer for a fixed three month project to earn real, relevant citations and to improve how Google and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews) find and describe us.

We give you a locked list of target keywords and queries, grouped into 11 clusters, each with one target page.
• SERP tuning: the keywords. Find editorial, directory, resource and community placements that rank for or sit near these terms and link to the right page.
• AEO tuning: the queries (questions). Find the sources AI engines actually quote for these questions, and earn a place there with an accurate answer that uses our locked wording.
• Weekly approvable targets: every week you deliver a short list of vetted placement targets we can approve. Each target has the venue, why it is relevant, which keyword or query and which page it serves, the effort, the proposed copy and the risk.
• Monitoring: you track every approved placement after it goes live, and you track AEO progress by testing the queries in the four engines on a fixed schedule.

The keyword and query list, the tracker and our plans are confidential and are shared only after you sign our NDA.

Who we are looking for
• Proven whitehat link building and digital PR for B2B software, with examples you can show.
• Hands on with answer engine optimization: you can explain how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews choose sources, and you have moved a brand into their answers.
• Comfortable in Google Search Console and a rank tracker. You report from real data.
• Strong at judging relevance and quality. You will say no to a bad link.
• Reliable written communication and a weekly rhythm you keep.

Apply with a short note, two or three past results (venue types and outcomes, not client secrets), and your rate for a three month fixed scope.

Success measures
• Every placement approved before it went live, and every placement tracked after.
• Weekly approvable target list delivered on time, every week.
• AEO: Named or cited with correct wording in at least 2 of 4 engines on the Primary queries by day 90.

Engagement
• Fixed scope, three months, weekly check in.
• Budget and weekly target count: to be agreed at interview. We expect the weekly list to hold enough approvable targets to fill the week, not a padded number.
• Remote. English.
