Full-Stack Developer for Quick Commerce MVP (Construction Materials, India)

We are building a hyperlocal multi-vendor marketplace for construction and hardware materials in India. Local shops (hardware, building material, electrical, paint, sanitary, tools) will list their products, and customers will order from them. Our key differentiator: the delivery vehicle is automatically matched based on the order's weight and size (bike → three-wheeler → mini-truck), and the shop's stock is picked up and delivered to the customer.

We are at the validation stage and need a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) — not a full-scale app. We want to launch in one city with 20–30 vendors first, prove the model, then scale.

What We Need (MVP Scope)

Vendor side (basic):

Vendor registration and login

Add/edit products with photos, price, weight, and dimensions

View incoming orders and mark them as ready for pickup

Customer side (basic):

Browse products by category and shop

Add to cart and place order

Order tracking (basic status: placed → picked up → delivered)

Core feature — Auto Vehicle Matching:

Based on total order weight/volume, the system should automatically select and book the right vehicle type (bike / 3-wheeler / mini-truck)

Ideally integrate with an existing logistics API (e.g., Porter or similar) rather than building logistics from scratch — we are open to your recommendation

Admin panel (basic):

View vendors, orders, and vehicle bookings

What We Do NOT Need in MVP (please don't include these in your quote):

Advanced analytics dashboards

Loyalty/rewards programs

Complex review systems

Multi-city or multi-language support

Tech Stack

We are open to your recommendation. Suggested: Flutter or React Native for mobile, Node.js/Django for backend, PostgreSQL/MongoDB. Please tell us what you'd choose and why.

Working MVP deployed on a staging server

Source code with full ownership transferred to us

Basic documentation (how to run, how to deploy)

30 days of bug-fix support after delivery

Timeline & Budget

Timeline: 6–8 weeks for MVP
