Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer (Occupational Safety) Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan) 部門 : Department of Health and Life Sciences 參考編號 : O/CW-HLS/PTD_L(OS)/09/26 Major Duties: (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students' projects and fieldwork placement; (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; (c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and (d) To participate in networking with industry/ industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. Requirements: (a) A recognised degree in Applied Science/ Health and Life Sciences, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field, and with a post-graduate qualification; (b) Qualification of Registered Safety Officer under the Labour Department; (c) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; (d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and (e) Good records of linkage with the industry would be an advantage. Notes: (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. (2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. (3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
